Let get in all those great lean fat, low carb foods and jiggle off a few of these pounds. We know it works and it can jump start our summer work-outs.... puddin 7 Posted April 16, 2006 What did you eat 3/4 cup of?I tryed to find the previous post but couldn't find it,but whatever it is,I would like to try it too.You said you got full faster?I need that!:eek:Yesterday since I was on the go I ate a few wheat thins for Breakfast, I took them with me in the car:guess so I ended up eating them during lunch, wasn't hungry for a while so waited for dinner and ended up eating a WHOLE carne asada burrito! I have 1 fill ,1.8cc and I am still able to stuff down a whole burrito! :confused:Actually I just ate the inside (meat,guacamole,salsa) the tortilla won't go down.I don't get any full feelings.I need help,I don't get another fill until May 2,even then I think the Dr gives only .5cc at a time! :help: Girl, at 1.8 cc's I could eat everything under the sun. I didn't get full faster, I just stopped eating after 3/4 cup and then 10 minutes later felt that full sensation that we both seem to lack when we eat. Apparently I only get that full sensation 10 minutes later so that's what I'm going after. And after you hit 1.5 cc's my doc only gives .1cc at a time, usually. So I feel your pain about getting these fills slowly. But honestly, I wouldn't have it any other way. I'm glad I didn't have perfect restriction right off. It gave me time to practice self-control and planning. Plus, my caloric intake didn't dramatically drop upon being banded so I was burning fat and carbs instead of muscle (as my metabolic test indicated). At 7 months out, my weight loss is just starting to take off, and I've already lost nearly 60 pounds! I don't think the "magic months" were the first 6 for me, but only because I got these fills slowly. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
puddin 7 Posted April 16, 2006 Dang - that fill's KICKING IN! And it does that at the randomest times. I went to Lagoon, our local amusement park, yesterday. THAT is when my fill decided to kick in. 4/15/2006 B: 1 slice cold-cut turkey L: 1/2 chicken sandwich, without the bread (this is when the fill kicked in and I PB'd, but I've learned now) S: 3 bite-sized chocolates from the bakery at Lagoon D: 3 boneless buffalo wings S: 100 calorie pack chips ahoy Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
