coyotegirl 3 Posted November 17, 2005 Hi Andrea and Welcome to LBT!! I was banded a year ago in Flagstaff. I use to live in Chandler and am a proud graduate of Chandler High!! I have lived all over in the valley, Chandler Hgts, Chandler, Queen Creek, Mesa and Gilbert. Oh well all over that end of the Valley anyway! LOL I now live in Pinedale which is about 15 miles from Show Low. It is soooooo cold here right now! It's going to be in the teens again tonight. Good luck on your surgery. And when you are finally banded you may want to tell everyone about it. I sure did. Keep us posted!!
trekaner01 0 Posted November 19, 2005 good luck to you. i was just banded in mexico by dr. huacuz. everthing was first class. the hospital was clean and cheery. the nurses super. lots of attention. no pain or nausea. the doctors even came to my hotel to check on me. very good service. i expect that you will be fine. im having the pukes now. it is a drag. i had to leave work. i think the smoothie i drank was too thick and irritated my esophogus. so be careful to stay on Clear Liquids. this is worse than the whole surgery. the surgery was cake

Banded14yr 2 Posted November 21, 2005 Hey Andrea! Good to "see" you here! I had no idea you were from Arizona. My mother used to live in Chandler, and I grew up in Tempe. I think you should tell your mother. She will totally understand and probably be very happy for you! Tricia

Dianechef 3 Posted December 3, 2005 Hi Andrea! Congratulations & welcome to bandland!! I too am in AZ. I live in Gilbert. We could be close to each other!! How are you feeling?!?! I am hoping that we can get enough people together to meet for Breakfast on a Saturday morning sometime in January. I have never met anyone in person who had lapband & would love to be able to talk to people face to face.

4my3girls 0 Posted December 4, 2005 Hi, Im in Chandler, right on the border of gilbert, I think once we drive up to Chandler Blvd or Ray rd its Gilbert, you know where Chandler/mesa community college is on pecos? Thats where I am! So, getting together with a group of arizona bandsters is a great idea!
coyotegirl 3 Posted December 4, 2005 I would love to meet everyone in January. But can we make it for lunch instead? I have a 3 hour drive! Just wondering.
Dianechef 3 Posted December 4, 2005 That's right Terri. You live so far away! lunch it is!!!! How does Jan. 14th look for everyone? We can meet in Tempe which should be a central location. I know there's a Chili's restaurant off of University/Mill. It's right off the 202 & pretty easy to find.
