Thinning Hair

Anyone have problems with thinning hair like with the RNY surgery?

I already am getting 60-80 grams of Protein in per day. And have started Niaxin for thinning hair.

Maybe it's all in my head but my hair already seems thinner.

Any info or suggestions much appreciated!

My hair shedds like crazy this time of year anyway so its hard to tell for me.

I know with rapid weight loss the hair will fall out but from what I understand it does come back (well thats what some one told me).

I don't think I'm getting all my Protein in and my hear is coming out from the roots. When I brush my hair and I get a lot of full strands. I need to take it seriously but my hair is more managable now. LOL

I was told Biotin will help prevent that.

Is Biotin a pill?

You can buy Biotin at Walmart for a couple dollars in the Vitamin aisle. I've heard that it makes some people sick. I've never used it (not banded yet).
