Here is my dilemma, So I have lost quite a bit of weight and we are coming onto bathing suit season. My thighs are yucky there is extra skin. Do you have any suggestions on how to camouflage this in a bathing suit?

Thanks

I've seen some really cute swimsuits in the sears catalog with a little skirt that still look kinda cool.

skirtini's! like a tankini with a skirted bottom. JC Penney has some really cute ones - check them out on their website and good prices too! I got a couple there. Most are separates so you can get a perfect fit and mix and match and the st johns bay ones come in misses and plus sizes (the other ones might too but didn't check)

JCPenney : women : swimwear : mix + match separates

I say get a tankini swimsuit that comes with a skirt for the bottom. I found them really inexpensive on ebay. I have bought 5 from the same person. Fashiondock is the seller/store, she is very quick and her prices are great, the swimsuits she has are really true to size.

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?
