okiegirl79 1 Posted April 19, 2010 I have been banded for 6 months and have had CONSTANT nausea for about 5 or 6 days. Besides right after surgery...has anyone dealt with this??? I called the doctor and they are going to call me back. It has been about 6 weeks since my last fill...so I doubt that has anything to do with it.

okiegirl79 1 Posted April 20, 2010 Thanks for the reply...I am going on day 6 now and no resolve. I am getting to the point where I can hardly eat. I went to my pcp today and he ran some tests for my liver, pancreas, and gallbladder. I called my surgeons office...they are three hours away and they suggested that it was gas....as if. Anyway...I was hoping maybe someone else had some experience in this area.
Sue Magoo 71 Posted April 20, 2010 Hi: I have issues with nausea and dizziness if my blood sugar gets too low. Another thing that can cause nausea is an inner ear thing. I hope you feel better soon. Let us know how you're doing. Take care. Sue
okiegirl79 1 Posted April 21, 2010 Thanks a bunch Sue. All of my tests came back this morning and he said everything was in normal ranges. He thinks that I am having some acid issues in my stomach...something he said he sees alot with banded patients. He called in a RX for stomach acid. I dont have reflux or heartburn or anything...weird. Thanks for the thoughts..
JJLaw08 4 Posted April 21, 2010 I was having kind of the same problem last week. It had been going on for a week or two. I would get nauseous after I ate supper. I don't know if it was because I ate to fast or ate to much at one sitting. I would gag a few times, and it went away. It hasn't done that this week, so hopefully it has passed.
