finding me 1 Posted April 19, 2010 What could that be? it is not bad and not all the time. Just when I bend over to pick something up or lean on my desk. I started to notice it last night and thought maybe gas so I used two gax-x strips and it was still there this morning. I am sure that it is not a slipped stomach because I can eat just fine. No throwing up here. Any ideas of what it might be?

I am 5 weeks post op and recently did a little more activity and the left side port area is a little sore at times and i thought I just pulled a muscle in that area that i have been protecting for a month.Hope it gets better but call the office for info. The nurses are great, it may take a while for a call back.
finding me 1 Posted April 19, 2010 I have a call into the office. Just waiting on a call back. I am kind of afraid to eat even though everything is going down ok. Just worried that if something is wrong that I don't want to make it worse by eating. I was banded on 3/25/10 and have not had gas pains since about a week after surgery so I never really thought about it being gas pain still.
finding me 1 Posted April 19, 2010 The nurse called back and said that since my doctor actually sews the bottom stomach up over the band that it is more than likely an air bubble trapped between the band and my stomach. She said they see this often as patients start advancing their diets. She suggested using a heating pad on the side and Mylanta. I guess I know what I will be doing as soon as I get off work.
