Nean4488 1 Posted April 17, 2010 I just found out I got approved by my insurance today and now have my date for May 17th! I go in for my pre-op appt April 26th so I will find out about my pre-op diet then but I was wondering if anyone was still able to work out while on it, I know they cut calories by a lot! I have a personal trainer and I work out really hard, trying to lose the most weight I can before I get banded, I hope this doesn't stop me!
Karlzmom 1 Posted April 17, 2010 I worked out on mine. Infact, my doc wanted me to do something active everyday. That said, I did find my workout more tiring the usual...like I didn't have the same reserve...but it was still good to workout as hard as I was able.... Kristen80 0 Posted April 17, 2010 I've been so good at working out.. for the past month it's been 3 days a week and it's been great for my mind/body..I didn't think I would have to stop during pre-op..but I haven't gone at all.. I don't feel that great without carbs/sugar ..and I think working out and all of that would make me feel worse.. I'm getting back to the gym as soon as I can after surgery.. Good luck!!
