Surgeries after the band...

Recommended Posts

I had surgery today, totally in an area not anywhere near the band, and boy am I tight. As in just able to sip Water tight. Takes me an hour to eat a couple of ounces of pudding and even then it is uncomfortable.

Has anybody experienced this and if so, how long did it take before you felt your tightness ease?

I haven't experienced it but it could be caused by inflammation, I would give it 3 days and just drink liquids and then eat mushy foods for 3 days so you don't hurt yourself..I hope you start to feel better soon..I would treat it like you just got a fill...

I've heard laying down causes the tighter feeling. This is why many of us are tight in the morning. I would imagine there was laying down and rest involved with your recent surgery

It should subside in a few days. I was just reading about Papaya enzymes..helps the stomach to break down Protein. Good for stuck episodes involving meat, fish etc. It is also an anti-inflammatory effective in curbing swelling and fever that develops after the surgery. Who knew!
