Amazing friends...

Recommended Posts

Today was insane. I suspected for awhile that my friends might know that I was going to get this done, but I didn't tell them or even hint at it in anyway. They just kept on saying things that clued me in. Well today she finally told me that they knew that I was getting this done. I was MORTIFIED, and scared. I live for her approval almost, she means the world to me. But she was SO GREAT. She told me that she wished that I wouldn't but she supported me know matter what I chose to do. She even went shopping with me on my preop diet and offered to take off of work to be with me the day of surgery. And her boyfriend, my other friend said that he wouldn't hate me if I got this done and that means alot to me also. He was great, he's really into biking and told me that i should go and he would help me also and we did and i rode about 8 or 9 miles around the lake(almost died but it was fun)! Well I just had to post it, it made me feel really good to know that they would love me no matter what. Yay for good friends, and an awesome support board!

Really good friends almost always know...even if they don't say so. I hope you will enjoy their support, and also what you learned: it is okay to be yourself, always.

That is so great. True friends support your decisions even if they don't agree with them. It'll make your recovery much easier if you have some people doting on you for a few days after too. :)

The 14th was my day. I am home and recovery is going pretty smooth. They even let me walk out of the hospital. Picture of me in recovery curtesy of my boyfriend lol.

Neat you have a pic of this day! I was sooo happy to get my surgery. It was well worth it! And I'm not even near my goal. I had surgery Dec. 2!
