I was denised by united health care for my bmi being at a 39.1. I am going to get weighed again and cross my fingers that they will approve me. Has anyone out there had this problem and was the outcome a good one? Discouraged

Your lucky you do not have any problems yet.Did you measure with shoes on???? I thought I was 5'5 and I was 5'4 and that made my BMI higher.Put a few rolls of quarters in your pockets.Weights around you ankles. Whatever it takes.Bet you are eating good this weekend trying to get the BMI up. Mine is 35 but I am diabetic. GOOD LUCK

Sounds like the roll of quarters in your pocket did the trick! Don't get discouraged, UHC is pretty good. I have UHC and did not have any co-morbidities, just back & knee pain. They approved me within in 2 weeks. Good luck!
