Need some advice

I am seriously considering having lap band. I have struggled with my wieght my whole life and I feel like it is out of control now. I want to know anything about this process that anyone can tell me. I am located in the Katy, Texas area so if anyone knows a good doctor that would be great too. I don't know anyone who has had this procedure for a referral to a doctor. Thanks in advance for any info!:confused:

hi, well if you ask me, i definitely recommend the sleeve,the success rate is much higher than with the lap, the recovery is much faster.......i went with Dr. Aceves in Mexicali, Mexico.....so you could try giving them a call, i am sure they´ll be able to answer all your questions. I was banded by Dr. Felix Spiegel, he is an excellent surgeon with loads of experience. His office staff may be a bit sloppy, but I went for a good doctor and not the staff. I have had no problems at all and just wish I had done this years ago. Dr. Spiegel's Houston Office is near the Galleria. If you need more info just let me know.
