First few days..what to eat?!?!?

Hi Everyone!

I was banded a few days ago and it just seems that i get REALLY full from a few sips of water! Is this normal and can anyone give me some suggestions on what liquids to have for the first week.

Also, when I was banded I found out that my surgeon put in 4ml!

I was only allowed to have Water, popsicles, and juice. Congrats on getting banded!!

My band is only 3 wks old, so I'm no expert. That said, I couldn't eat/drink anything for the first several days. A total struggle to get down a bit of Water. After 3 or 4 days I was able to drink water and Protein Drinks. I think your body tells you when it's ready.

      The 14th was my day. I am home and recovery is going pretty smooth. They even let me walk out of the hospital. Picture of me in recovery curtesy of my boyfriend lol.

        Neat you have a pic of this day! I was sooo happy to get my surgery. It was well worth it! And I'm not even near my goal. I had surgery Dec. 2!
