Do you weigh...

Recommended Posts

I weigh daily (some time a couple of times a day just to get a feeling for how I fluctuate) but I only pay attention to my Monday morning weigh in (that is the weight I use for the week) No shoes but I keep my PJ's on.

Depends. If I am close to a personal goal I am butt nekid, first thing in morning and after I pee. If I am not close to a benchmark I just weigh in my nightie.

On the contrary, I tend to weigh myself last thing at night, still fully clothed. That way I know it cant get any worse, lol.

I weigh myself with my pjs on, then do a piddle and weigh naked. I did this religiously everyday for the first 6 mths, now I do it every few days or so because I am so sick of not seeing the scale move and it was controlling how I felt too much each day if I had put on weight or not lost anything.

I only weigh in the doc's office each visit untill my weight goes down enough for a home scale to display (ha ha)

so...without shoes but fully clothed! Their scale does callibrate Water weight, muscle mass and body fat percentage also.

Just had my 2nd fill yesterday and I was down 7.2 lbs from last fill 2 1/2 weeks ago! I also am down 7% body fat. I was soooo happy!

In the morning after my first pee and bm (I'm regular as they come - I typically have a bm about 15 minutes after I get up every day). Nightgown and sometimes sweats, depends on what I wore to bed. I try to only weigh once a week, but if I *feel* up or down, I usually weigh then, but still only in the morning.

Too funny HarleyNana!!!

I weigh myself in the mornings after I pee in just my nightgown & panties.

at my Dr.s office they ask you to take off shoes and any heavy clothing like I had a heavy sweater jacket on - now I weighed at my dr's. office and then went immediately home without eating or drinking to see how different my scales are at home and between my docs and mine there is a 3lb difference.

At home I weigh myself right after going potty in the morning - naked w/ no shoes.

Hi everyone! I’m brand new here. I just went through all my pre-op requirements per my insurance company and now everything has been submitted and I’m just waiting for final approval and my surgery date. I’ve been doing research, watching YouTube videos, TikTok’s, ect.. trying to prepare my mind and what to expect so I’ll be ready for the surgery. I was so sure and so set and so ready and excited. However, now that I’ve done everything & it’s almost here, I am sooooooo scared! I know why I want it bc I’ve tried everything and I just don’t feel like I can lose weight by myself. I’m tired of being overweight my entire life. I’m miserable, but I keep psyching myself out afraid of GERD bc I know how that can be and I don’t want to have to get a bypass after already gaining the courage to even get VSG. I’m scared of complications like I’mgoing to regret doing it and be depressed that I didn’t just be more disciplined and try again to lose the weight on my own even sitting here typing this knowing in my mind i just can’t and don’t possess the discipline. I’m also afraid I won’t be able to handle the restrictions of the sleeve. What do I eat? I don’t know how to eat healthy really and don’t enjoy healthy food. I don’t know how to do this! I feel so defeated!Someone tell me they felt anything similar to this or am I not ready? I thought I was. I am so tired of being sick and tired and so tired of myself and so tired of being stuck and stuck in this body and somebody different on the outside from what I feel inside. I just want to ball up and cry.

The 14th was my day. I am home and recovery is going pretty smooth. They even let me walk out of the hospital. Picture of me in recovery curtesy of my boyfriend lol.

Neat you have a pic of this day! I was sooo happy to get my surgery. It was well worth it! And I'm not even near my goal. I had surgery Dec. 2!
