Down 2lbs--I am happy about that since I did not get my second fill as planned. However, I really have got to get back on my exercise routine. I only exercised once last week and the week before that.

I am grateful for the minus 2 this week, but I am having a tough time. I am constantly hungry, the last fill did nothing and I am officailly in bandster hell! I have a fill for two weeks from Wednesday but I may call and see if I can get in earlier.

No lost this week. I had my first fill last Thursday, it has helped a bit, but not as much as I thought it would. I just have to be strong and stick to a decent food plan.

Down 2 more - yay! I am extra proud since I was traveling all week and always find it so hard when eating meals out. Just had my third fill a couple of days ago but unfortunately, still no restriction. Sigh!

Best news of my week - needed smaller jeans so went to look for one of my boxes of smaller clothes (I have several boxes in several sizes) My daughter says to me oh my god mum those are too big put a belt on!!!!!!!!!!!!! Less than a pound to go! We're going camping next weekend with a canoe trip and hiking involved so I'd like to think that 1 pound would be a piece of cake! However, as we all know there are weeks when we're darn near perfect and lose nothing so I won't hold my breath.

TOM strikes again this week, so I was afraid to even step on the scale. I got a decent start before he showed up, though, so down 3.4 lbs.

I was down another pound this week on Saturday morning but after the weekend it disappeared and i went back to where I was. I'm bound and determined for 3 lbs this week so no Snacks. It's funny how I get upset about my eating when I know I didn't eat exactly as I should. Before the band I would have considered my eating this weekend to be depriving myself.

Holy crap! I lost 4.4lbs this week! And the only thing I did differently was eat more! I was keeping myself around 850-900 cals a day and I was walking around 2 miles a day. I upped it to 1100 and voila! I surpassed my 10lb goal by 1.4lbs!

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
