Well, it depends. Some people can, some people cannot. I can, but corn makes me hungry so I generally don't.

i can eat popcorn just fine actually it goes down a little to well. Some people on the other hand say it dosn't go down well. It all depends on your body reacts to it.

I can eat it no worries, I just take it slow, like all other foods. Used to get the Jumbo popcorn with extra butter lol, now I can't finish a kids serve.

I know what you mean. I wish it didn't go down easy, and it really doesn't fill me up. I love it though. popcorn bad lol!

Same goes here...I can eat way too much of it! I ate a whole bag of Redenbockers (no-trans-fat) mico-wave popcorn at work yesterday. When I came in this morning, I grabbed the box and gave it to a co-worker and said "here, my gift, enjoy these"!

I decided no more popcorn for me. Like Jack said...a non-food...empty calories...I'd rather have something I can sink my teeth into like chicken, which I can eat easily. I haven't tried pork or beef yet because I do so well with chicken and luckily, I love it!

I've never tried it since being banded but my surgeon has a now infamous story about a woman who he had banded who did a flip out binge on three bags of microwave popcorn and completely slipped her band in a most painful way. It's a scary enough story that it put me off popcorn for life!

popcorn is a can-do for me too--although I can only eat a couple handfuls vs a couple of bag fulls.

Oh yes, it was Dr Feng's patient. Dr C just loves to tell the story!! In support group meetings we've often wondered of her true identity!! lol!
