so I came from the hospital to find out both my kids have the stomach flu. both are vomiting and have diareah. I don't know if its something I need to call and tell my doctor.

Yes, you should call your doc. Mine told me that if I got a stomach bug to call immediately so that they could give me anti nausea meds. Never hurts to consult the doc!
