queenbeeoffour 0 Posted November 9, 2005 Surgery is on Monday and I'll be shopping this weekend for the weeks to come. I'm going to buy some Isopure and was wondering if anyone has a favorite flavor or one that might have been just terrible. How about liquid vitamins? Any favorites or suggestions? Thanks! Jammin & Losin 1 Posted November 10, 2005 All I can say is DO NOT BUY THE fruit PUNCH!!!! YUCK!!! All other flavors are tolerable..only for a short clear liquid phase. Not something I think I could get use to drinking all the time for the Protein. I drink a lot of choclate Protein Shakes. Good luck and wishing you lots of success!! As far as Vitamins. I either do flinstone chewables or the Gummy bear vitamins.
NJChick 3 Posted November 10, 2005 I use chewable Centrum adult vitamins...liquids are awful tasting. I tried Isopure fruit punch, peach, orange and they are all gross. I was told that the vanilla was good. Even ice cold I didn't like them....sorry.
Guest ASPHALT ANGEL Posted November 10, 2005 I did the Isopure also and the blue raspberry was about the best one for me but it had to be over ice and very cold. I take a chewable from GNC...can't remember it's name right now but they are huge. I would recommend the childrens flinstone though.
IVANinNJ 0 Posted November 10, 2005 SKIP the liquid vitamins. They are very expensive and taste worse than you can imagine. I take Flinstones chewables with Iron and a Calcium chewable.< /p> As for Isopure, there's not much you can do. I just dealt with it for the week and a half. pamela 10 Posted November 10, 2005 I take liquid Ultra Mega from GNC...I mix it with Orange juice. Otherwise, I could not tolerate it...yuck! BUT, it's such a great product...
queenbeeoffour 0 Posted November 10, 2005 Thanks everyone! I'll definitely get Flintstone Vitamins. Guess I'll try a few Isopures and get some Protein Shakes.< /p> So glad I asked - I knew you would have the answers I was looking for!
