Awesome website for protein!!!

Recommended Posts

I have been really frustrated with Protein Drinks lately lol they are getting old and FAST....So i have been trying to find other drinks and stuff or even different ways to use the protein..I came across this website called Nashua Nutrition and they have all kinds of stuff..They are a website actually tailored for weight loss and bariatric eating/surgery...I haven't ordered off there yet but i think i am going to try some things...Almost everything they have has atleast 15grams of Protein per serving and very lil sugar....including smoothies, teas, cocoas, coffees, Snacks, Breakfast items and so on...Anyways the website is:

Nashua Nutrition

I also found today at my local health food store flavored Stevia drops..I got an apricot one to put in my smoothies and i got regular stevia as well just for everything else..lol..Well i just wanted to share what i found...:Banane20:

If anyone has any other creative ways to get protein in or other protein items that are good please let me know oh yea my doc doesn't want me to have anything with milk in it...Makes it a lil harder :Banane20::huggie:

Have a Blessed Night!

If you liked Nashua, you might want to check out Bariatric Eating (bariatriceating.com). Their Protein supplements are the best available, IMO.

I have just received 2 sample packs from Bariatriceating.com, and I tried the Caramel Latte yesterday... Deelish! I am currently having breakfast:one 4 oz container of Oikos Greek yogurt, with a package of the Peanut Butter Cookie flavor... I am in HEAVEN!!!!

Thank you so much ladies for the good info about Protein variety. I am scheduled for my banding on 4/9 and have been looking around for ready-made protein drinks. I live 250 miles from my doctor and by the time I have the endoscopy one day and banding the next, I will be in a motel room for 3 nights. So instead of messing with shaking and blending I wanted to find something a bit easier during that time and for the trip home. I will definitely check out both sites mentioned above. Thanks again.

Bariatric Eating has ready-to-drink Proteins, too. Their BElieve brand is really good. But the Inspire line dissolves in just 4 oz. of water--no blending required. And it is MUCH better-tasting than the RTDs, IMO.

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.
