Bell1138 1 Posted March 15, 2010 I am 1 month post-op and I have noticed that when I reach fullness, I begin to burp. It is so weird, it is like a sign saying that is enough you need to stop eating. Does anyone else experience burping when you are full?
ToddNYG 0 Posted March 15, 2010 Yes, if I burp or hiccup that usually means I've had my fill.

cwbga 0 Posted March 15, 2010 Yes - I burp, hiccup, and/or get a runny nose. Haven't figured out why the runny nose - does anyone else get this?
vlp1968 83 Posted March 15, 2010 Absolutley! Sometimes I need to walk around until I burp and can then return to eating. I almost always burp a bit right after I eat.

Froggie D 1 Posted March 16, 2010 My dietician says that is a soft sign that you have had enough to eat and to watch for it. She described burping, hiccupping, sneezing, watering eyes, deep sighs, etc and said everyone is different. She siad if you listen to it, you are less likely to overfill and have problems.
