I have a cold and just lost my lunch ... sound normal?

Recommended Posts

Okay, so my cold is better ...had it since Tuesday ... stayed home Wednesay back to work Thursday ... I still have a lot of mucous ... especially today. Tried to eat my lunch and work at the same time (was on the phone with the travel agent) had to hang up and literally RUN to the bathroom to give up what little of my lunch I had eaten. Is this because I am full of mucous? This is the first time I have had an episode like this. My lunch was a Lean Cuisine with soft noodles and soft chicken. Whew! I don't want to do that again. Think I'll do Protein Drinks for the next day or so ... what do you think? Ever had this happen when you have a cold?

I've had a cold for the past month. I'm starting to think it's not a cold anymore, lol. Anyway, during a cold you do end up swallowing a lot of phlegm. So, perhaps, since phlegm is sticky and kind of thick, it could cause you pouch to be somewhat full? That's just a theory though.

I hope your cold goes away! They are the pain in the butt. :frown:

When I am congested due to cold or allergies I can not eat as much and have to be more careful, not sure why congestion makes the band tighter but it seems to be the case.

I have bronchitis right now and lost my dinner tonight during a severe bout of hacking this evening. It's not unusual for me to PB (it's not really vomiting) while I'm sick and have lots of coughing and mucus.:cursing:

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
