Whillow 0 Posted March 11, 2010 So I am starting to get nervous... The band is working great for me right now, Im dropping a good 2lbs a week,,, I am at a loss of 46lbs right now!! I am so happy!! However, I am starting to look ahead ,, and with the way things are going the ill be nearing 200lb soon... which is great -- but i have gotten so close to that point before and never been able to pass it,, i dont remember the last time i was in onederland... I am nervous i am facing that failure again. How can I keep my head in the game and not worry about and know that i will get to it and get past it.... TN_girl21 1 Posted March 11, 2010 Don't have any advice. Just letting you know that you are not alone. I haven't lost as much as you, I'm at 224 right now. I haven't been under 200 in forever. That's where I always get stuck, and can't get past it. I completely feel your pain and worry! But this time is different! We will get past it and keep on losing until we reach our goal! btrieger 21 Posted March 11, 2010 I am down 100 pounds and expecting my plateau any day now. I've convinced myself that it is coming and that it is a normal part of weight loss. I'm ok with it. In return, I am happier with every week that passes that I am still losing.
Startingoverat50 3 Posted March 11, 2010 Whillow I have been where you are. Believe me. I had not been under 200 pounds since my youngest child was born over 16 years ago! I had my surgery last May and finally hit ONEderland a couple of weeks ago. I like you thought it was impossible to get there, but you will. The difference between now and in the past is you have this wonderful lapband tool. It doesn't matter how fast you get there. Just take it a day at a time, keep getting fills as you need them and enjoy the moment when you get there!
