mclev98 0 Posted March 10, 2010 Folks, I am going for the initial consult on the 19th. I am excited about FIANLLY being able to get a handle on this. I'm 6'3 and 305. I can carry the weight OK, but WHY? Guess my biggest question is after the initial surgery, how often do you get stuck for and adjustment? I'm a coward when it comes to needles:eek:
serenity55 15 Posted March 11, 2010 Hi and welcome! I'm terrified of needles, so much so that I've been known to walk out of labs while waiting to have blood drawn. So trust me when I tell you that the fills don't hurt me at all. I think that was one of my concerns when I started this journey, too. I get fills every six weeks, though I think there may be some folks who get them a little more frequently, every four weeks, maybe. Good luck, and keep posting! mclev98 0 Posted March 11, 2010 Hi Debbie, You'd think that after 28.5 yrs in the Army and 2 combat tours, I'd be better. I HATE needles. Not that it hurts, just getting stuck is not my favorite thing to do. I'll survive.
