Omg! I have been exercising for almost 3 months now 4-5 days a week consistantly n the scale would go up n down 1-2lbs. Now this week I didnt do any exercise n I dropped 3lbs. I dnt know what it is I guess it depends on ur body. Do u think that u still should exercise even if ur a very active person???

I'm so glad you posted this! I'm going through the same thing. I'm not sure what we should do? I'm getting enough Protein and drinking about 100 ounces of Water a day, and limiting carbs. But if I exercise 2 or 3 days a week I keep fluctuating the same 1-2 lbs.

This week I worked out one day and I've lost 4 lbs. I have NO clue what's going on with my body?!?!

Well ladies or gents, I am in the same boat. I have even hired a personal trainer. I have been at the same weight for about 4 weeks, until today. I finally lost a pound. I can't figure it out and neither can my trainer. Just keep at it. I know I feel great. It should eventually come off. We sure are working our butt off for this. I wish I was being literal. LOL

Weight flucuations, do to Water retention et.. I workout 6 days a week and weigh myself once a week. I have not seen the scale go up. However I went a couple weeks only lossing a pound or two. The next week the scale finally moved 4.5 pounds down.

Absolutely keep working out! There are so many wonderfull benefits. I won't list because you probably already know them.

Also, instead of just the scale, focus on other signs of fat reduction by taking measurements and/or how your clothes fit.

Hope all this helps. Best of luck!

That was happening to me, until I started to keep drinking 100+ oz Water and keep a min of 70 grams of Protein a day and added exercising 6 days a week. Any gain I see is minimal and it's muscle wich burns fat, so win win :smile2: I do Hip Hop Abs so it's also almost not exercising and more like dancing :)

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.
