I can't say enough good things about DR,BAPTISTA he is one of the very best. I had my surgery in AUG of 2009 and have already lost over 50lbs.

Hi There!! I am a patient of Dr. Baptista's also. I had my surgery back on November 13th. Hadn't really lost any weight but now, I think, I am. Got my band tightened again last Thursday (April 15) for the fourth or fifth time and I can finally feel the restriction. It took five months... but the weight is FINALLY going down!! I am so happy!! Maybe this is the "sweet spot" everyone has talked about or close to it. It's really nice knowing you can eat only a little bit and you don't actually want anymore food. Gone are the food cravings I have fought with my whole life!! I am loving this phase of the lapband experience. Up until now it has not been rewarding. Five months must be the turn around for me. I am praying it is.
