anewvue 0 Posted November 4, 2005 This is what your stomach looks like when the band is improperly placed. This is what happend to me at the Molding Clinic in TJ Mexico. Dr. Huacuz was my surgeon. The band did not slip. The band was improperly placed. http://photos.yahoo.com/shannoncomer71
Penni60 45 Posted November 4, 2005 Unless you really know what you are looking at with those pics, we would never know it was misplaced. I am sorry for your troubles.
franp 8 Posted November 4, 2005 Yep, me too. Misplaced band. Dr. Huacuz, Molding Clinic on 7/4/05. I have x-rays and can't scan them.
the best me 6 Posted November 4, 2005 Shannon, I got them here to post but I don't really know what I'm looking at. What's misplaced about it? Not that I don't believe you, I do! I just don't have anything to compare with? Can you 'splain what's wrong? Here's the pic.
Dragonwillow 0 Posted November 5, 2005 I have the xrays of my barrium swallow the day of surgery....all I can clearly tell what is what is my port! LOL Melissa
mousecrazy 2 Posted November 5, 2005 I have photos of my band operation, and one thing I can tell just by looking is that the color is all wrong...not clear, pink and healthy. It looks like the stomach tissue is damaged or bruised here, and there are some lumps that aren't in my pictures. I am sorry for all the discomfort you have experienced..what a pain! HOpe you are feeling better, Cindy

anewvue 0 Posted November 8, 2005 Thank you for all the comments. I just wanted to place the photos because so many people say that anyone who has a problem with a band in Mexico is just trying to start false rumors. Thank you all.
princess_n_thep 2 Posted November 8, 2005 Geez, all purple it looks like your stomach was suffocating!! So sorry for all you had to go through but thanks for sharing your story!!! Do you have a great band placement now?
anewvue 0 Posted November 8, 2005 Yes, thanks for asking. I have had a wonderful experience with this placement. I just always fear the worst so I try to be very careful at all times. Sometimes, I think too careful.
the best me 6 Posted November 9, 2005 Yes, thanks for asking. I have had a wonderful experience with this placement. I just always fear the worst so I try to be very careful at all times. Sometimes, I think too careful. You are never TOO careful, especially after what you went through with the first band. I'm really sorry. I wish I knew what I was looking at in there. I can see the band and the stomach but I can't see just what's wrong with this picture, ya know? I promise I won't do any band surgeries!!! Thanks for posting the pics...I love looking at stuff like that. And thanks for sharing your experience. By the tone of your posts I know it's no rumor mill you are after. Well done.
