I have had my consultation, in the process of getting the needed test, and the other requirements needed. I am hoping that everything goes well because I have paid enough to WW and diet pills. MegaT 0 Posted February 27, 2010 I'm a newbie too!! I have never participated in any forums or blogs, ever! I have made the choice to go forward and have the Lapband done and am beyond excited! I met with my surgeon, the psych dr. and the nutritionist already..now just have to have all the tests done (including a Menometry?) anyone have to have the menometry? it's a swallowing test or something of that nature to see if you cna swallow properly post-op!!! if you've had it done please let me know what to expect; all I know now is they go down your nose witha tube while you're awake (ouch!):wink2: but I am willing to do it all to get the surgery done! any hints in delaing with Blue Cross/Blue Shield would be welcomed! I am 2 months in to the 6 months waiting period:thumbup: and have strated the monthly Dr. visits (yes, consecutive) anyway...any info. would be a HUGE help thanks! snowbear 0 Posted February 28, 2010 Hi I am also a newbie! I just need to have psych consult then it should be off for insurance approval. I am worried about the liquid diet. I am very excited to go through the process and become healthy! I am very happy to have support and be able to talk with people going through the same process!
