Do I Need A Slight Unfill? What do you think?

Recommended Posts

Am I getting enough food? Do I need an unfill?

Last night I weighed 3 ounces of lean ground turkey before I cooked it. I added about 1/8 oz of shredded cheese, 3 very thin pickle slices, two small baby carrots and a tablespoon of baked Beans to round out my meal. I could not finish the burger - ate just over 1/2 of it - no bread - and that was with some ketchup and a bit of mayo on it that should have made it "slide" a bit. I ate the carrots and beans (again, wet food) but felt uncomfortable for over an hour after dinner. I think what I ate would easily fit in 1/2 cup measure but it seemed to be too much.

Then, for Breakfast I had 2 heaping teaspoons of Greek yogurt with a sprinkling of Kashi Go Lean crunch - about 1/4 cup. I brought apple sauce but couldn't even take a bite of it because I felt overly full again.

A few other things to consider:

1) I had a very bad stuck incident last week that resulted in two days of vomiting/sliming on all solid food

2) I recently flew (landed Sunday evening)

3) I have a sinus infection and am taking anti-biotics

4) I have my period

Is less than 1/2 cup of food per meal a suitable amount for someone who needs to lose 125 lbs?

Hi Sounds to me with everything you have going on flying, sinus etc...you could be a little swollen..stay on yogurt and Protein drinks for a day or 2 if it does not resolve, call the doctor. He might have to unfill. I just had to go in for a unfill, way to tight could not eat..coughing..just miserable and I am still on liquids till tomorrow because of swelling.

Good look.

As long as I could eat good solid food I wouldn't do an unfill. If I started counting on just sliders and shakes then I would. You probably still have swelling in your stomach. I would give it 2 weeks to go down. Small meals are fine you probably just want to make sure your getting your Protein. If not I would supplement with Protein Shakes.< /p>

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
