Lapband LaLa 10 Posted February 11, 2010 I just hit goal and now I am focusing on maintaining. I have stayed away from frozen meals and fast food, etc. But now I need to be sure of Portion Control.< /span> Anyone use the frozen meals in their diet. SmartOnes, Weight Watchers, Healthy Choice? I had one tonight but I could not get it all down. that's not a complaint...I just want to make sure I get all my nutrition in. It was a Smart One Lasagna. nfl1 0 Posted February 11, 2010 Congratulations!!! What a great accomplishment! I love grandma's chicken and cheesy rice by Stouffers. It comes in a big size, and is about 4 meals. About 18-19 g Protein for 1 cup.
juliansmom2003 3 Posted February 11, 2010 Sometimes if I don't have time to make lunch for work, I have a Lean Cuisine stash in the freezer. The herb chicken one is only 180 calories, 3 g of fat and 18 g of protein!!!!
emjay 8 Posted February 11, 2010 I have them in the freezer for quick & easy lunches, but many times it is a chore to eat them since many consist of some sort of Pasta. It can take me 45 minutes and try and eat about 3/4 of one, so I don't bother much. I try to limit too much "processed" food from my diet, but sometimes you just don't feel like preparing anything! Any they are handy! You may want to eat a smaller portion and load up on a small serving of cottage cheese or pudding fortified with an unflavored Protein to increase your Protein intake. Just a thought!

minimeme 1 Posted February 11, 2010 I dont eat them often because they are all high in carbohydates. But I have to admit that I love the Eating Right brand Butternut Squash Ravioli. Yum!
btrieger 21 Posted February 11, 2010 My nutritionist gave me this great list. Thought I'd share it with everyone! Sodium is another thing that has to be taken into account. It causes fat cells to hold Water and sugars as well as raising your blood pressure. I think the Smart Ones and Healthy Choice dinners average about 600mgs each.
