I saw a woman at the gym wearing the top of a sauna suit and I thought that wouldn't be such a bad idea to burn more calories/sweat more. I have a sauna suit of my own and haven't been using it I bought it years ago. I am curious if anyone has tried this technique to lose weight or if you think there are any problems. I have plateaued for a couple of months I am not at my sweet spot yet I get my next fill in March and hopefully I will be completely tight. I am trying to trick my body in the varied exercises I do in order to get my body to lose weight. So just asking about the sauna suit but I am willing to take any advice anyone can give me.

Save your money. Anything you sweat out and any weight you lose will be replaced with one glass of water!

The only way to lose fat is to burn more energy than you take in, end of story. You dont burn more calories wearing a sauna suit.

If you're going to the Oscars and have to fit into the size 0 dress tonite, it might come in handy, but as soon as you drink some Water, the dress will come apart!! It's also a great way to get dehydrated too quickly. The only sweat that burns fat is the sweat you get from working out - the other sweat is just your bodys own moistyure that it needs.

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.
