Teacher07 3 Posted February 10, 2010 I started running about a month ago. It was a struggle to go about a 1/4 of a mile. One day I decided to try and push myself to a half of a mile. Anyways, once i got to half a mile I felt like Forrest Gump. I just kept running until I hit 2.5 miles. I had an immediate breakdown and cried when I got off the treadmill. I walked outta the gym and said F$$$ Yeah I can do this! If I can anyone can! Good luck!

mandyfsc 0 Posted February 10, 2010 Hi Guys! I love Couch to 5K. I started it 2 weeks ago. Tomorrow starts my 3rd week and I up my running even higher. My goal has always been to run a 5K but never knew how to train. I've become so addicted that instead of the 20 minutes they tell you to do, I never do less than 30 and sometimes up to 50. And I've been doing it 5 days a week, not 3. It's been the BEST challenge. Don't get me wrong, I still HATE running, but I hate it a little less each day. And to answer the big boob question.... I have huge ones, as most of us do here. And I wear 2 sports bras and one tank top with a bra in it. I am completely strapped in! And it helps, but I still feel tons of pressure on my chest. I can't wait till I can wear just one bra! Oh happy day....
happiness1 1 Posted February 10, 2010 Are you doing the 5 month or 7 month program??????????? I was told you need to have the off days to rest your muscles...

mandyfsc 0 Posted February 10, 2010 Are you doing the 5 month or 7 month program??????????? I was told you need to have the off days to rest your muscles... I'm doing the online plan. It's 2 months. 8 weeks. I don't know what you are talking about with 5 or 7 months. That's a looong time to train for a 5K. Maybe it's something different. I'm doing 5 days a week right now because I am still doing more walking than running. My body feels great! And it gets easier everyday....
happiness1 1 Posted February 10, 2010 Yes it must be different .... do you have the link? My program is a 7 month program..

crystal525 26 Posted February 10, 2010 I did this back in August and September. It really kicked up my weight loss! But--I still don't like running. Do it...it does wonders for your self esteem, especially if you are like me and never could run even for a minute! Good Luck.
