sawyer77 1 Posted February 9, 2010 I am almost 3 weeks post-op, and have not had movement on the scale for about 10 days. I know I'm in bandster hell, I'm still keepin' the faith, exercising every day (my 5K is creeping closer and closer!) and so I was really excited today to have a real non-scale victory! My coworker (who hadn't seen me in three days) said, "Wow! You're really losing weight! I can see it in your face. That made me smile for a good 10 minutes straight! It was just what I needed. Hurray for NSVs! :-) But that doesn't mean I'm going to stop looking forward to my first fill in 2.5 weeks! Ha! :-)
Melinco 1 Posted February 9, 2010 Congrats! I know for me too, I could really see it in my face (lack of double cheeks!). Keep up the good work. You'll get through BH.
vikeetingsgirl 0 Posted February 9, 2010 Hey there I'm two weeks post op also, and I was at a stand still for a couple days there. Try eating a HIGH Protein diet for a few days, it might kick up your metabolism. i have one question though........ what is "bandster hell"???
sawyer77 1 Posted February 9, 2010 I will try that -- thanks! I probably need to do that for sure with increased activity. Bandster hell is the time before fills/restriction. :cursing: Frustrating!
