Cerrin 3 Posted February 9, 2010 Meditating is not a religious thing. It can be, but not for any specific religion. I am budhist we meditate to bring one self peace and center yourself. My mother who is Christian meditates to bring herself peace and center herself. She has done this for a long time and started during a bible retreat. Meditating is a great way to releave the stress of the world. It really helps you gather yourself and can really help you focus on the important things. And to stop stressing about the things you have no control over. Yoga is a great way to lengthen the muscles to give your body a sleaker look. It is also really good to help you increase your stamina. Holding those poses is hard. Balancing is a great way to stabalise yourself. I say go for it.
