Carrie22803 0 Posted October 30, 2005 So who here like crabs? And do you still eat them? Every time I go to Myrtle Beach, I see this sign 'Maryland Fried Chicken'. We always get a laugh from that, especially since my family is all from the South. Now, crabs I think we're known for, but fried chicken? ??? Just went to the Inner Harbor Friday night, had a good time with friends and ate (not me, really) at the California pizza Kitchen. Hello, midshipmen!!!! Things I love about MD: 1. Terps!!! 2. weather 3. nice place to live!! What I do not like: 1. price of real estate 2. traffic Just thought I'd share....
Teresita 0 Posted October 31, 2005 Go Carrie, I do like crabs but I don't eat them often. I was spoiled growing up. My mother would open my crabs for me. I loved that. I learned how to open them but I didn't want to. I miss my mother a lot, some days worse then others. :cryShe's been gone about 13 years now. Anyhow, I think I'm having one of those days. I do love shrimp. My brother went to MD U and is a Terp. I can't think of any other place I'd rather live. I like the fact that I am so close to MD and VA. HarleyNana 10 Posted November 1, 2005 Oh, Jimmy Dicks or a soft shell crab sandwich, of course without the bread now for me. I just eat them with my fingers, yummmm.
Carrie22803 0 Posted November 1, 2005 That sounds pretty good...I had a momentary loss of sanity and tried to eat some spaghetti and some garlic bread. Yeah, it all came up. Not that I ate a lot, but I ate too fast and didn't chew, and I KNOW that I have trouble with bread and pasta...but it smelled so good! And everyone else got to eat it...I just got to relive every bite. Needless to say, I learned my lesson! Now, where's my low-carb shake? ???
