aneffie53 0 Posted October 29, 2005 Jachut -- Question how was the heel spur surgery? My heel has been very painful for about 6 months and I keep hoping the weight loss will make a difference but not so far. I've heard horror stories about the heel spur surgery -- what was your experience? As for me I had galbadder surgery, wisdom teeth, and the endoscopy and colonoscopy. The gas was an issue for me after the lapband, but not the surgery or the insisions.
phazer08 15 Posted October 29, 2005 Is your heel especially bad when you first get up in the morning? If so, then you probably have Plantar Fasciatis. Very painful but no need for surgery. I got over it by having orthotics made. It's worth a trip to the foot doc.
vanesav 0 Posted October 29, 2005 Between the age of 30-33, I have had tonsillectomy, gallbladder, tubaligation, and this year bilateral carpal tunnell and finally my LAP-BAND. So you can say I have had my share of anesthetia. I definitely do not regret my Lap-Band.
Ohtobethin 0 Posted October 29, 2005 I had my lapband on Tuesday (10/25). Don't ask me yet if I would do it again. It was very painful for the first 4 days. I am now on full liquids and still have a lot of gas and can't sleep on my side yet. Hopefully tonight will be the last one in the recliner. They say it gets better!
