Hi I'm Jennifer,

I had my LAP-BAND® surgery on Dec. 9, 2009. I feel great and am loosing weight as we chat! I have Tricare Prime insurance and they paid 100% for my surgery. My Doctor is Dr. Yuan in PA.

I visited this chat thread many times in the past to read other peoples questions and got answers. I'm ready to introduce myself and share my journey!:w00t:

Congrats on your success. I love this site. It has been so helpful and inspirational. I was banded 2 weeks ago. I have lost 8 so far but am so hungry right now. I have managed to stick to it today. The past few days have been tough but I am determined not to gain any back.

hi welcome I was also banded in December (Dec 22) I get my first fill on Wednesday morning I'm so excited. Have you had a fill yet?

      The 14th was my day. I am home and recovery is going pretty smooth. They even let me walk out of the hospital. Picture of me in recovery curtesy of my boyfriend lol.

        Neat you have a pic of this day! I was sooo happy to get my surgery. It was well worth it! And I'm not even near my goal. I had surgery Dec. 2!
