How many times a day do you pee?

Pre surgery--I went to the bathroom alot. My motto was "pee before you go".

Now--- I only feel like I have to go 3 or 4 times a day. Yesterday, it was 1pm before I needed to take a walk.

Is this normal? I am drinking all day long ( except with meals)

I used to drink 7 liters of Water a day, now I drink 2-3 liters a day. Yes, I still "drink all day long", but more sipping now, where I used to guzzle/gulp/consume alot more at a time. :thumbup:

I'm experiencing the same thing and I hope it is normal. I attribute it to no longer drinking caffeine. I was drinking at least a 2ltr a day of diet coke and lord only knows how much coffee.< /p>

Are you getting in at least 64 oz. of Water? You may be retaining Fluid and need to drink more Water to overcome this.

My doctor prescribed Lasix for me. I take it everyday with potassium. I do tend to retain Fluid around time for my period which I then take double the dose as instructed by my doctor.

It's 1:30. I got to work at 9:00 AM. I've peed 5 times already.

I've had about a cup of skim milk, and 96 ounces of Water.

Make sure you're drinking at least 64 ounces of Water a day.

Losing even a few pounds can change pressure on the bladder and therefore change urinary frequency. (Bladder capacity is increased.) As long as you're getting enough Fluid, this is one of the POSITIVE effects of surgery.

Oh my ... me too.

I thought I was the only one. I only have to go about 3 times a day and I do drink Water all day as well. I'm also not doing #2 as much. :w00t:
