mominkansas 2 Posted January 13, 2010 As anyone noticed that their skin looks so much better. I used to have chicken-y skin on my arms where I could see my pores. Today I noticed my arm skin is clear! A great side effect!
newdicarlo 0 Posted January 13, 2010 I've also noticed this in my face--I'm getting so many compliments on my skin now, it's amazing. Not sure if it's the increased Water intake, the change in diet or the fat cells pulling together, but I'll take it either way!
LollyMoe 1 Posted January 13, 2010 I am seeing a zillion tiny tiny wrinkles in the skin on my arms. However, I'm as old as a box of dirt and that's to be expected. I'll take it anyway as long as I am losing.
k-statearmywife 6 Posted January 13, 2010 I'm sorry, no offense, but don't compare yourself to a dirty, dead, bird....EVER. Seeing your past body as overweight in a negative light is something completely different than comparing your skin to something dead. Havn't we come past this? Seriously ladies, be proud of what you look like and the hard work that it took to get there, DON'T degrade another part of your body. You were beautiful when you were fat, and you are beautiful now, it's time to start acting like it, which includes negative self-talk.
galiardi 0 Posted January 13, 2010 she said "as old as a box of dirt" - not dead bird?
grizzlyrider 0 Posted January 14, 2010 I'm sure it was just an expression meant as a joke. I thought it was funny.
LollyMoe 1 Posted January 14, 2010 pdmarkle: The remark I made about a being "as old as a box of dirt" was indeed my weird sense of humor.
mominkansas 2 Posted January 14, 2010 Not sure if you are talking about me and chicken skin, but the condition is actually nicknamed chicken skin. If you google Chicken skin on arms it will show you what I am talking about
