sherrye22 0 Posted January 8, 2010 I am wondering about the 6 month physician supervised program requirement. The requirement says "6 consecutive months" with "no significant gaps". So does that mean I will not be approved if I went to my doc for this supervision in May, June, September, October, November, December? I missed July and August b/c of my doc's vacation and mine. I don't see that as a 'significant gap' but will Cigna? Thanks!
toddee1099 0 Posted January 9, 2010 I don't have Cigna, but their requirements sound very much like the requirements for my insurance. I could not let more than 4 months pass between visits. I ended up missing two months and still got approved. Hope this help! Good luck!

I called Cigna myself because I have the exact same situation, and the lady responded "It doesn't exactly say, so just submit it." I'm going to call again later and ask for someone else. katwomantexas 2 Posted May 20, 2011 I also have Cigna. I was told I could not miss any appointments or I would have to start over. All my appointments were 28 to 31 days apart.
crecia1975 4 Posted May 20, 2011 I also have Cigna and I was told the six months had to be consecutive. If I missed one month, I would have to start all over again.
