Iced tea w/ lemon - burns?

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone,

I think I'm identifying something that isn't agreeing with my tummy, that I never had a problem with before: iced tea with lemon!

Has anyone else has an issue with this? I don't think it's the tea, I really think it is the lemon, as I've had hot tea with no problems, and iced tea with no lemon, no problems.

When I drink it, I can actually feel a discomfort in my stomach. Is this common?

Thanks!

No, I'm on solids. I had my lunch today, waited an hour, drank my Water first, then went and got an iced tea with lemon from Sonic (since I can't drink any soda). I only took a couple of sips (not with the straw) and I could feel it.

Sometimes wine does this to me - most particularly on an empty stomach. And the other thing that does it is potato chips!

Might be reflux developing (citrus, spices, alcohol, etc. make the burning worse). It's a very common banding side effect so keep an eye on things.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
