JackieJ 0 Posted January 2, 2010 I just read on another board that it is possible to have issues with your port if you have had a previous Tummy Tuck.< /p> Does anyone know if this is true and any info on it? Anyone had a tummy tuck before or after their band and if so, any port issues? I'm a bit concerned as I had a tummy tuck about 4 years ago and am 10 days away from my band. Sue Magoo 71 Posted January 2, 2010 Jackie: I don't have any issues with my port. I was banded July 07 and had a Tummy Tuck in May 09. My port is up near my rib cage in the middle. It never bothers me. I think it was the perfect place to put it. It's too low for my bra to hit it and it's too high for my waistbands to hit it. Good luck with your band.
