sberrys 0 Posted December 27, 2009 I got the band about 6 weeks ago. At first I couldn't eat much but now I am eating almost like normal again. Get my first fill next week so hopefully I wont be able to eat as much again.
simplycharming 0 Posted December 31, 2009 are there any foods you couldnt eat?
sberrys 0 Posted December 31, 2009 No, I can eat anything even bread. But you know everyone is different, some people have trouble and some don't have any like me. I believe most people don't have much trouble and are able to eat just about anything they want except maybe soft bread. Just remember, it gets better and will be worth it once it's over! Good luck and hang in there!
Mrs Beasley 0 Posted December 31, 2009 I was banded 4 weeks ago and the first two weeks after I had not much of an appetite at all. I was really scared too but don't be scared, you will be fine. Personally, I scared myself because I did not completely understand how everything was going to work even though I read all kinds of literature about it. The steps have been much easier than I ever imagined them to be. Hang in there, try and get a goods night sleep before you surgery
LOJACK 0 Posted December 31, 2009 I am starting my Pre Op on Jan 11th and looking to be banded before the end of the month. What is the recovering time needed after surgery? As far as returning to work?
