Shrinking in AZ!

Hey everyone!!

I was banded after a lengthy battle with my insurance company, who tried REALLY hard to drag it out as long as possible. Finally, I was approved.... about 3 weeks before I turned 23 and lost my coverage through my parents! My surgery center was AMAZING and squeezed me in right before the deadline... and I had the band "installed" on June 8th of this year.

I'm a WLS "Lightweight," my highest weight was 243... and I am just barely 5'1. In the past 6 months, I have managed to lose approximately 45% of my extra weight (approx. 45lbs). It has gotten much easier now that my hormones are under control.... stupid PCOS!!! :tongue:

Anyway, I look forward to getting to know you guys!!!! :biggrin:
