Jladybird 0 Posted October 23, 2005 Hi All, Tomorrow moring at 6 am I will be introduced to my new buddy and tool, the Lapband. I am both terrified and excited. We are going to stay nearby in our motorhome (the hospital is a bit far away) so getting to the hospital won't be a huge hassle. I will update everyone after I get back. Was everyone as scared as I feel? Part of me wants this so bad and the other wants to run screaming the other way. :cry I hope all goes well so everyone cross a body part for me. Fingers, legs, arms, eyes. Hey if you got two of them, cross them for me. :cross-eye Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Janet:D

Mikie in VA 0 Posted October 30, 2005 Janet- I'm with ya there! I go for surgery tomorrow, as well. Yesterday, I was in a total downer mood. Got very depressed. Bitched to myself, for getting into this situation. Hoping the 'toolband' will help me along with being healthier and happier. I have to be at the hospital at 8:00, surgery at 11:00. Today, I'm trying to keep busy. Doing house cleaning, sorting/tossing mail, and planning to get outside and do some yardwork. Also, doing some outside errands. Getting the Gaaaaaaas-X and other items to help me along the way. Positive thoughts your way!! Mikie
