Marimaru 7 Posted October 24, 2005 Glad you are feelin better. Why can't you just wash the shirt instead of throwing it away? Just curious.
Kathy473 1 Posted October 24, 2005 Sorry you had to go through that. I have not had a PB or vomited as of yet. **Knock on wood** But I did have a small hamburger (not cheese) with all the fixings and small fries and let me tell ya...after I ate it...I felt the little pain in my chest area and I knew I was full and I belched REALLY big! And that was it..Thank GOD! I am so scared that I am going to vomit or PB that everything is dipped in something. I had the Jack Daniel's Salmon at TGI Friday's and dipped the salmon in the sauce they give you and it was so awesome! The only thing drives me nuts is the waiting 30 minutes to drink. But it is worth it!
Guest vonnie Posted October 24, 2005 I am still researching and have had most of my questions answered but have one question that I should probably know but I just don't! I hope it isn't a stupid question, if it is sorry. I keep seeing people talk about PB but can't find out what that stands for. What is it?
Kathy473 1 Posted October 24, 2005 A PB is a productive burp. I had to look it up too. Once I found out what it was...I didn't want one!
Kathy473 1 Posted October 24, 2005 Vonnie.....you can also go to the FAQ's and Reference section at the main forum page and it has a list of abbreviations. That was really helpful.
Guest vonnie Posted October 24, 2005 Ok, thanks for the help. a PB sounds yucky but not as bad as a PF (productive fart). I will ck out the FAQ's. Thanks again.
DeLarla 22 Posted October 24, 2005 That's really strange to me. I always have warning signs before I PB. Also, I was strongly warned never to eat and drive, so this has probably happened before to lots of people.
La_madam 20 Posted October 24, 2005 I can not eat and drive..I learned my lesson the hard way with that! Worst PB I have ever had to date! But I never had the puke smell when I PBed, interesting
HarleyNana 10 Posted October 24, 2005 That must have been real vomit, cause my pb/slimes never have an odor either. That must have come from really deep. Oh, but I must confess, it does stink if you spit in a bottle, put the top back on, leave it in a 90 degree car for about 2 hours while you're in the mall, then come back out and find the top wasn't on tight and the chit had spilled everywhere. YUK!
CandySmooch 0 Posted October 25, 2005 Oh no ! So what do you think from the puke smell? I was really surprised too because I've re-gurgetated before and it was just food no pukey odor - that was the first thing I had ate that day so my stomach should have been empty and I don't rememeber eating anything even close to bedtime since I normally never do that. I hope nothing is wrong. Should I get something checked out? I'm only 5 months post op. The reason I threw the shirt away was because the cheesburger had mustard on it and when I threw up I was 45 minutes away from home so it had set in by the time - I attempted to clean it - but it was all dried, clumpy and stained - gross - so I just trashed it. Boyfriend emptied the trash with the shirt in it today and to my surprise he didn't try to save it! He's a clean freak and frugal - I was highly expecting him to find it - ask what happened - and still try to save it after 5 days of sitting there LOL - but he didn't even ask about it. Teresita 0 Posted October 25, 2005 I always take one bun off because it is just calories to eat both of them. I learned this before being banded. I have vomited in the car but from crying so hard. I'm glad the smell came out of the car.
CandySmooch 0 Posted October 26, 2005 Me too! I will try taking off 1/2 of the bun if I ever attempt the cheeseburger again!
