Honestly I have no idea what actual size I was. I was only wearing sports bras pre-op but had a whole lot of loose flesh. Just empty sacks of skin really. Mine are the “gummy bear” type of silicone implant, and were placed under the muscle.

sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but lose enough weight and the butt will follow the same deflated path as the boobs. le sigh. i mean you could do a whole lotta squats and leg lifts and bridges, but unless you gain the exact same muscle mass in volume as you the fat you lost, you are gonna see some excess skin. i've been doing some dedicated butt work, and yes, when i flex i get a little bit of a nice bumpy "portrusion", but my extra skin is draped over it! lololzzz... if i'm feeling adventurous, i'll see if i can post of pic of what i'm taking about. ha! in any case, loose skin or not, deflated boobies and saggy bottoms, if you feel good, it really doesn't matter. cuz when you feel good, it projects outwardly. (and p.s., its projecting in your case ❤️)

It's amazing how during the week, your weight fluctuates really badly like 2kgs up but one week exactly on the official weigh in. I am 1 kg down! 96.7 kg today! I really thght my loss would've been faster like at least 2kgs a week but I'm happy! Less loose skin, more sustainable so yay -
Hey everyone! I'm 2.7 years post op. I've maintained about a 140 lb weight loss. I have a lot of loose skin and I honestly feel like I can't fully enjoy my body until I get some of this skin off. The problem is I can't afford it. I spent everything on the surgery (insurance didn't cover) and I'm not making much money right now because I decided to go back to school. I am currently living in Texas. I would love to know how some of you paid for your plastics. Was it hard to make payments? What options are there usually? I'd like to get my belly skin, breasts and arms lifted. I am just looking at arms right now and just that alone is $14000. I just need any ideas or out-of-the-box suggestions. The weight loss surgery and weight loss/maintenance was one thing, but making this next step happen feels impossible sometimes.

How to pick the right plastic surgeon!
SleeveToBypass2023 replied to AmberFL's topic in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery
You just want boobs?? HOW did you get lucky enough to not need anything else? I'm seriously jealous. I need everything *sigh* I have SO MUCH loose skin everywhere, no butt, no boobs. It's terrible. I was told I'm looking at $60k-$75k for everything I need/want done. Inner and outer thighs, butt lift, tummy tuck, arms, neck lift, boobs, lipo w/ contouring. And I might need a lower face lift because I have such loose skin on my cheeks and lower face that my smile lines are HORRIBLE and the skin is just NOT IT. UGH..... -
No more saggy arms for Sophie!

13 days out - Progressing nicely, but still a BRUTAL recovery. Surgeon removed an excess of 3 ¾ pounds along with hair + sweat glands, so no need for underarm shaving or deodorant. Continuing oral and ointment antibiotics for a bit longer, as my right arm has been extra red and sensitive. Swelling, soreness, stiffness remain as the skin heals from the trauma. Six feet of sutures. Very uncomfortable, but I continue to set my eyes on the prize. Wearing Mr. Sophie's big, loose shirts with button down fronts for ease. No desire to drive or venture out. Enjoy long walks (not power walking) at night in the neighborhood with hubby and puppy - quiet and refreshing. The Happy Halloween decorations are also entertaining! -
I love wall pushups. Been doing them for almost 2 years now almost every single day. I stand about 1 metre away from the wall (which is almost 2/3s of my height - lol!) and do 35 ordinary pushups & 35 with a clap. Should do more but I am ultimately lazy. I have distinct deltoids, triceps & biceps. Don't know how much stronger I actually am but my arms are toned which is what I wanted & not muscle bulk. My 14yr old competitive swimmer niece complemented me on my arms last week & was comparing them to hers. I’ll take that. Though she did point out they’d look better if I had the loose skin removed. Aah 14yrs olds, they give & they take away. 😂

So I haven’t ever started a really good cleansing routine with my skin. I have some skin condition where I get dried skin on the sides of my nose if I don’t treat it and believe it or not the dermatologist told me to use head and shoulders shampoo on my face and it works just as good to prevent it as the really expensive cream does to heal it so I have been doing that for a lot of years. Well, I really liked the dermatologist, but his office staff messed up my appointments Once too many times and I scheduled with a different one this time and she said you have rosacea. You need to be using something mild or on your face and sold me this whole new skin kit that has like five steps. She actually froze something off my face that day as well, so I couldn’t start using it until this morning (it’s finally healed) after my yoga class I came home and washed my face with it and it actually feels nicer after just one use. My skin feels softer at least. Apparently, my skin really seriously needed the hydration. -

Weight stabilizing so quick?
newbegining2024 replied to newbegining2024's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Hi Sue, I’m eating about 1000-1200 calories a day on the days I am working out. I add a protein drink as my snack for the days I work out. If I am not working out, I eat around 900-1000 calories. I’m still following 3oz protein, 1oz veggie and 1oz carb rule. When I am more hungry I add more protein instead of 3oz protein I eat 5oz protein. You might be right about working out, it might not be the key to losing weight. That’s why my size is shrinking but not my weight. It definitely helps burn the fat though. I think this is also why I have so much excess skin. I have excess skin on my arms, tummy, thigh, back… basically everywhere, I know it will not bounce back just because how much hang I have. Even the weight didn’t change much, the excess skin is getting more wrinkly day by day. -

Uncovered. For sure! That way it gets the little crispy bits on it. If you don’t want those then flip it over skin side out and poke a few times with a knife to vent the steam -

Thank you! Loose skin is so different for everyone. For me, it's there, but manageable. If I were to elect for surgery, I'd do my arms and breasts. The boobs... Gone. Gone. Gone. But everywhere has been touched in some way with loose skin in various degrees. My husband has been so incredibly supportive and don't mind it .. or so he says. It easily hides under clothes and if I need a bit extra support, I wear a tummy control body suit. Here's a couple other pictures. I'm on the right in the light grey dress. The green tank top pictures are from January 1 and I've lost more since then. I hope this helps ease some anxieties concerning surgery. But keep in mind loose skin varies greatly between people. And the amount you loose varies greatly based on how closely you follow your program. Wishing you all the best!

Plastic surgery😱👀
SleeveToBypass2023 replied to Dchonlee's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I'm actually technically able to get plastics right now if I want them, and BELIEVE ME I do, but I only just got my weight stable and not going down down down, so I want to give it a few months and see how it goes through the winter months and then revisit around March or April. I'd love to at least have my boobs, neck, arms, and tummy done by my birthday next year. That's really what I'm the most self conscious about. I'll eventually get the rest done, but spanx pretty much takes care of any loose and wobbly skin on my butt and thighs. I don't do dresses or shorts, I wear capris or pants/jeans, so that's perfectly fine. But it's better to let your weight be stable for a while before you go have surgery. Too much fluctuation one way or the other could mess up what the surgery does and then you'll have wasted the money, time off work, and healing effort and time. -
Recipe Needed for Spaghetti Sauce Please.
Arabesque replied to ShoppGirl's topic in Regular foods (stage 4)
I’ve only done it with Roma tomatoes which have a thinner skin you don’t need to skin. I don’t cut /scrape out the seeds either with romas. (May be known as plum tomatoes I think in the US.) I started buying the little basil plants in the supermarket and plant them out. Get about 4 or so months out of the plant before it gets sparse looking and doesn’t produce many leaves. The little pots cost about $5 in Australia so pretty cheap for having fresh leaves on hand. -

I use a night cream that I love and have definitely had to use more since surgery. I feel like my skin is way more dry. I love massages but hate walking away feeling so greasy from all the lotion, but the other day, I told my husband we needed to get one soon, cause I’m pretty sure my skin will just soak up all the lotion!!! 🤣
