So I am just over a year out and lost 115 pounds in total. Got approved for skin removal surgery for my stomach, Had that done last Friday I had no idea how much this would hur. My bypass surgery was cake compared to this I can still hardly move anyone who has been through this have any recovery recommendations?

I am having issues with loose skin and it rubbing.. Last night it was hurting where it was rubbing... What does everyone do for this issue... I knew it was coming since I have so much to loose but I was not expecting it this soon....

Hey, So lately i start to geht more and more anxious, I got my RNY-Bypass sept. 2023, i'm currently 36 years old from Germany. my Starting weight was around 230kg, i'm now at 125kg, it is a lot right?, But me being Anxious about my excess skin is kinda..Hart on my self esteem, i kinda think that even after my Fight is won, that nobody wants someone who is kinda...mhm.. Weird? , for comparions, a photo from 1 day to OP and one from today.

I had surgery 7/13 and now have developed circular dry patches on my legs, arms, hips. I do take vitamins, biotin, and drink my water. Has anyone else had skin issues like this?

I am 8 years out from my sugery. I had great results, went from 280 to 135. But i am having trouble holding my weight, have lost about 5 lbs over the past month. Im trying to cut back on fat and sugar. Trying to avoid pancreatic enzymes, any suggestions?

How can I get approved for loose skin removal? Only way is if I have a rash and I do but I’m too scared to go to a dermatologist! I keep getting denied I need help asap it’s taken a toll on my lymphedema

Things are going okay for me I guess.. I was told to only loose 1 to 2 pounds a week and that seems to be what is going on.. I am trying REALLY HARD to do as I am supposed to, but it seems the devil likes to mess with my head. I had some cookies that I ended up giving to my one son, cause it was too much of a temptation and I was going to them as a snack instead of good stuff.

Oh ok Thxs. Im truly amazed that people still hate b/c of the color of my skin. However they cant take away my joy, Ive worked to hard to allow someone and their ignorance to make me feel any kind of way other than good about myself. Those days if feeln sad and depressed about nothing are over.

Brie: Thank you for the comment. I so want to loose about 60 more pounds and get rid of my tummy that is my biggest part. You are so pretty too. I know that i have lost but you really can't tell until you look at pictures that is where you see it. Hope you are feeling better and the girls. Take care. Judy

Hey Cherri! I was suppose to loose 10lbs before surgery but I have had a really hard time doing that so I have decided to put myself on a liquid diet.....4 shakes a day....lots of water and some sugar free jello if I really can't handle it anymore lol. What is the 5k program....I would love to do that! here is my email bprimeau@verizon.net his me up if you need some encouragement throughout the next ew days!

You know I don't have to do any particular pre op diet. THey just wanted me to loose 10lbs prior to surgery...ive only lost about 3-4...I am seeing my surgeon this Tuesday and I feel he may put me on a liquid diet. I am doing a full liquid diet today, tomorrow and the next day before I see him to hopefully drop a coupld more lbs. Good luck with your pre op! Have you started a blog? I did its Me & My Band - not the musical kind and its so much fun to do you should try doing one!

Hey again Cherri! I can't believe it, 3 weeks from tomorrow! I am going to loose my mind I think lol. I am nervous bc I have not lost the 10lbs they wanted me to pre-op......I was trying liquids and couldn't make it all day, I have ended up eating dinner.....I am going to have to go to the gym and work it off cuz it's just not happening! What isyour low card diet consist of do you know??

i will defintely need plastic surgery!!!!!!!!!! i have 8-10 pounds of excess skin on the lower part of my stomach....it looks like the 126 pounds all fell to the bottom...i just dont take pix of that mess...lol...i am having a panniculectomy in august....

My husband and I had surgery and we had alot of excess skin also. I tried SPANX along with alot of other stuff that didn't work. My doctor suggessted something something to me and I couldn't believe it!! This garment has changed my life!! You can't buy it in stores or tv..Call me 214-684-5255 Meshia

My goal is to loose 50 lbs before my vacation on Apr 27. I have lost 40 lbs, so i am close, but i am preparing myself to miss my goal. I will celebrate where I am, and where I have been while acknowledging that I made some mistakes that kept me from making my goal. I LEARNED alot these past 7 1/2 weeks. AND like I PROMISED myself, I will enjoy the weight loss journey and not suffer through it. I can honestly say - I am so happy and proud.

I feel like I have been run over right now. My body really seriously hurts, my skin is burned up around my neck, and that was with sun block....holy crap.
