  1. Did anyone see this video with Dr Berg? He's interviewing another Dr that makes his own yogurt (sort of). Does anyone do this? Looks interesting . Interesting video. Just wanted to ask before I buy all the stuff! Sent from my SM-G981U1 using Tapatalk
  2. So I was reading that we are not supposed to have sugar after surgery. Are they talking pastries and stuff cause I drink the chobani complete yogurts. Are those okay? They have a like 20g of protein and they taste so good
  3. What are you doing as far as food? I've been eating a lot of yogurt and applesauce. I tried Malt O Meal yesterday morning and all that seems to be fine. When I have any cream soup or like the spaghetti sauce last night I get HORRIBLE heartburn.

My husband bought me one of those arm bands like they use on the biggest loser so I can count my steps. I've been doubling my activity everyday since surgery.

I have to go back to work in two days and I'm really worried about the gas and bowel issues. My bowels are so LOUD it is embarrassing!!! Like just sitting there everything moving around inside, you can hear it accross the room.

I haven't been able to do three shakes a day either. My shake has 26grams per serving so, I really only need to do 2 if I get protein from food. HEY SF fudsicles have 2 grams EACH!!

I've also already lost 10 lbs. Keep me updated on your progress.

  5. So today I had some Honey Treat Yogurt with Reeses. It was my first slip up and I immediately regretted. My brain and my sleeve are in agreement, never doing that again.

I think fish with a light sauce is the easiest to digest. Chicken is the next easiest to digest in my opinion. I've done chicken tetrazzini, Vietnamese beef stew with carrots. Crock pots help the food cook for a long time and get very soft. Just search on google & enjoy!

Beef stew sounds so good. But I'm sure I couldn't eat that yet. Refried beans and salsa mixed with a little nacho cheese little much yet.

I would try the fish in a light sauce first. That's not as dry or dense.

  10. I think I am living on chicken, cheese and yogurt!

  11. I just had my yummy pureed vegatable soup with a splash of plain yogurt. Wow aren't we a bunch of cheap dates. One can of soup has lasted me 5 days. I guess on the bright side I'll save alot of money on food.

  12. I am great on yogurt. I can finish a small 4 oz with no problems. I am soo bored with the same foods. I cant wait to eat some refried beans. what are you eating today?

  13. It was yogurt. I did Dannon lite and fit, key lime pie. I could only eat about half of the 6 oz container. I was stuffed!!!

  14. I hear ya, you can only have so much Jello, yogurt and pudding....glad to hear your doing good!

  15. All we're asked to do is take a laxative one time only, then clear fluids (and yogurt) for 3 days prior to day of flight. In this case, my flight to San Diego is this Sun. a.m. so I start pre-op Thurs a.m. My instructions are to have plain fish or chicken and a low-cal salad only if I find the liquids only too difficult. I'll see how it goes. I work in an office all day Thurs and Fri. My VSG is in Tijuana MX but their driver will pick me up at the San Diego airport only 15 minutes away. My sister did this end of Sept; my niece is getting sleeved same day as me. That's stoongal and time-for-me. Check out stoongal's photos. She's 71 and looking great.

  16. I had yogurt! And it was good - tummy likes it! I was getting so sick of broth....

  17. Why is my band so tight today- there is no reason for it. Yogurt and water is the only things that go good.

  18. Officially graduated to SCHMOOSHY foods today! Yogurt & cottage cheese never tasted so good!

  20. Mixed some unflavored protein powder in with my yogurt this morning (not uncommon) but I decided to flavor the whole thing with a crystal light pink lemonade packet... surprisingly yummy!!

  21. Yaayy!! off clear liquids, now protein shakes, for 1 week, then yogurt or pudding w/ protein added, for another week. Pain is easing, never had incision pain, just tummy pain, especially when drinking. Today I will try to take no pain pills..

  22. Done good with my eating today - Greek yogurt, ice coffee (sugar free) and a good homemade salad.
