Hey Stace! yes the 6 month kinda blows but it goes by pretty fast after the 2nd month. i take it as a trial run to how im going to start eating after the surgery. theres no way i would be successful if i ate how i was eating then next day had a tiny stomach! so im learning to eat smaller so when i have the surgery the pounds will drop off **fingers crossed** Good luck, youll do great!!

He has not given up on me but continues to push me toward my goal with new ideas. Not only is he been a great doctor and supported, his staff is more than wonderful. I am 4 weeks post op. I really didnt realize how fast the weight was going to come off. However, when I look in the mirror I don't see it. I see it in my clothes, but that's it. Has anyone else had this probably? Is this normal?

Feel as if I am not losing the weight as fast as others that I know. Any advice that may help?

Had my first PCP visit in over a decade today, & I'm currently fasting to complete blood work tomorrow. She's agreed to write the referral to the WLS center that I chose & I have my initial consultation with the surgeon set up for May 22nd. I know these are just the first steps to getting the checklist for insurance approval (7 mos. nutritional counseling) but each step makes me feel more solid in my decision & excited for my future
PS~Extra win, when they weighed me I was down 10 lbs from when I weighed myself a month ago(I've been tracking calories/macros & working hard on portion control)

So excited for you! You will do great!!! Just remember walk walk walk. AS soon as I came out of recovery I made myself get up and walk and I did great. I also asked for my pain meds every 4 hours whether I was hurting or not and it was not bad. My pain was nothing like I was expecting it to be. So thankful!

I am having a very fast heart rate after my surgery post op surgery (sleeve) my rest heart rate is around 94-110 - sometimes even when i walk it goes up to 145!
it’s literally killing me - i just had the heart mointer placed but I’m not sure what to do about it . I’m post op 6 months i was 230 and now I’m 189 and at a stand still!
probably my fault i still have a healed time eating food especially protein - i do workout but i know food is important (previous body builder )
