Yes I saw your new pics you posted. I love the fro with the red hair. How did u get the fro? Did u roll it with rods and then combed it out?
As far as your job.....don't let them get to u. Its your decision if you want to keep it a sercet or reveal it. (your lapband) If I was you I'll let them know in a professial way (since you are at work) that you know they are talking about you and you don't appreciate it. If they have something to say they can come to you.
People was telling me that I lost my weight fast....which is not true, because I lost 50 lbs in 10 months and my doctor is trying to encourge me to lose a little faster. People just like to find something to talk about. So girlllllllllllllllllllllllll lose that weight and give them more to talk about!!!!

Well, as far as pain goes it went great! However, I honestly do not think that I have enough restriction. I still am eating too much. I need more restriction. I think that I might call in to see if I can get another fill or something. I get hungry in 2 to 3 hours after I eat. I will see how things go from this point. But, overall things are good. Are you lossing even more weight now that you have had your first fill?

Hi! You are totally on track! I lost 19 pounds during my pre-op diet (it was two weeks and five days of only slim fast shakes and two cups of veggies). I've lost about 8 pounds since surgery, waiting until tomorrow to update my ticker. I started the mushy phase yesterday....have you started that yet? I'm expecting my weight loss to slow down with that.

-Start excercising right away...it helps with weight loss, gas pain, etc.
-Really chew slowly...if you get stuck on solids, it will hurt
-You are not alone....I haven't shared my surgery with many people and often felt very alone....go on here...it will help!
-Your hair might fall out at alarming rates. My doctor told me that this only happens to bypass patients....so not true! Make sure to get your protein, buy biotin, and remember that it will stop, and will grow back. Mine started 4 months out, and still falls out (less though), but it is growing back in everywhere too!
As far as workouts, I usually do 30 minutes on the elliptical or 30 minutes jogging and power walking. I also do abs and arm weights.
Keep up the good work, and please feel free to write back if you have any more questions...we are all here for each other

Well my fill went great. I am finally feeling a little bit of restriction, but not a lot. I am finally down about 40 lbs and glad to see the scale back in the downward spiral. I hope your fill goes great! I look forward to hearing about it and how you're feeling! Aside from slow... how has your weight loss been going? How much are you down? Do you work out at all? I hope all is well and look forward to keep in touch with you.

Hi! Long time since I've checked messages! Did you have your next fill? Sorry to hear about the chugging adventure. Thanks for the heads up. I go back next week for a fill and boy do I need it. With only .5 in, I can eat more than I'd like. My weight loss is crawling, but I'm happy that at least it's going in the right direction. Can't wait to hear how it was after the second fill. Do you notice a different? Look forward to the update!!

Hey lady! So good to hear from you. I'm hanging in there, girl. I'm still maintaining a 50-lb loss, but I can see that I need to keep checking into this site regularly to keep me on track *sigh*. How are things with you?

wow I have to say you look great. I am willing to bet you have worked your butt off too for it. I had surgery in March, haven't lost a ton of weight but have lost a lot of inches. My daughter had surgery the previous Mar in 08' and worked her butt off. She's lost 130 or pounds. My weight loss has been only about 35 lbs. It's hard! But I keep going. My dr wants me to lose 100 lbs. One step at time!! LOL!!!
