      You know what I've been doing ....it is silly but it gets my exercise in cuz I sweat like none other...but I've been playing those dance games on my wii the just dance and Michael Jackson experience lol

  8. At last!!! I've returned to pre-surgery hair loss level and have begun seeing new hair growth. Yea!!! Soooo looking forward to getting my thick head of hair back!!!!

      @cookiecody - Yes!!!! The weight loss has slowed considerably; more so in the past month than before, even though I'm following the rules :) I've been reassessing everything I'm doing to see if I'm falling short somewhere. Hopefully in the next week or 3 I see another small chunk lost.

      @jane13 - My hair loss was all over my head, especially just above the temples, so most folks have not noticed the hair loss like I have, and my husband and hairdresser. You may not need the hat, but some good hair product to help with volume might help.

      @ MrsSugerbabe Its the same for me! With the hair loss, and it has slowed down! I am losing a lot of inches so the weight has to follow! I would like it today, but I know thats not happing. Have a magical day!!

  9. Well, I have done cardio 5 days in a row now. Down 2lbs this week and feeling pretty darn proud of myself. Trying to build that exercise habit and make it consistent everyday is not easy! Before I was exercising 3 times per week and I seemed to slow way down on weight loss.

  10. So, I haven't made a whole lot of progress in weight-loss lately, primarily due to being chained to my desk to finish my master's paper... however, I will be crossing another finish-line this week.

  11. Dr.s office called and rescheduled my 6 month check up. it is about 3 weeks earlier than I expected. I really wanted to be under 200 by then. With my weight loss slowing down, I may not make it. But on the bright side...I haven't been this light for years! It will be great to lose through the holidays for the first time EVER!!

  12. Dreading doctor visit today -- weight loss great -- labs (iron) not so good...

      are you taking a separate iron supplement? I do. I believe it is 27 mg daily in chewable.....

      I am taking 18mg of iron twice per day - it's what is on the two multi vitamin Centrum pills . I just decided to have them 12 hours apart 8:30 AM and 8:30 PM because vitamins that aren't used are tinkled away and this way I was spreading the load. This does mean I have to take pills 4 times per day (breakfast, lunch, dinner and bedtime). Were you taking about this amount? Please let us know what the doctor advised. You'll get it right, no worries. This is why we get tested.

  13. Doctor was so happy with my weight loss (about 15 lbs) that she took me off one of my HBP meds! Now I'm just down to one a day.

  14. I hope everyone is doing great! I am in the midst of trying to take off a few lbs before the holidays! The sleeve is such a wonderful tool to use for loss even 2 years out! Praise GOD!

      I agree with you IcanMakeit, I use exercise as my outlet for all of my hiccups and worries and believe it or not it really works!

  16. Thx Grammy for the cheering section! Today I am 88 pounds down. My new goal is to lose 12 pounds to make that an even 100 pounds lose. No time period involved. It's just a mini goal for myself,even if it takes a year. I will still be proud and thankful for that loss.

  17. NSV: finally able to see my nuckles!!!! I have never EVER been able to see them!! My wedding rings are so lose now I will have to get them resized DOWN!!!! and ONE pound shy of 60 loss!! oh HAPPY DAY!! :)

  19. I'm really thinking hard about maintaining my weight loss. I have some stubborn bad habits, like watching TV or reading instead of exercising after work. I also find that I get hungry sooner after a meal than I used to. I don't want to walk down the road to regain.

      O, ok. That can be tough. I was able to get a cheap membership. Not a fancy gym, but it gets the job done. I'm not an exercise person, so I have to push myself. Best.

      I totally understand..u dont have to join a gym just go walking everyday...I get home change and off to the gym..It's hard but my thoughts are why watch tele...when i could be exercising...i do that after 9pm ive missed some of my fav shows but i have to get this body in shape...Good luck!!!

  20. Making progress on weight loss, yay! My biggest victory....I am now off of diabetic meds, high cholesterol meds, and my BMI is down to 33 from 41! To me, it's not all scale.
